Golf in the 4valleys is fantastic

Valais is one of the most favourite golf destination for golfers all over the world. This golf paradise is sitiuated in the heart of the alps, where you find fantastic views of snow-covered peaks and inhale the pure breathe.

You will find 8 Golf courses in a short distance from the "Capital of Valais" Sion.On this webpage you will find a short introduction of the golf-course, where you can find it and how long it takes to get there. Golf-Club Crans-sur-Sierre   Valais  

Season : May till oktober

On an altitude of 1500 meters you can play of 4 different golfcourses. Severiano Ballesteros is 18 holes/ par 72, hcp max. 36 or, Jack Nicklaus a 9 holes, par 35, AP.

Noas, Chermignon d'en bas 9 holes, par 3, without HDCP and Super-Crans is a 9 holes, without HDCP. Crans-sur-Sierre to Sion is 17 km , and its takes a 20 minute drive. for more info : www.golfcrans.ch

 

Golf Club Leuk   

Season  : March till November

This 18-Holes Golfcourse is created by the Scot John-Stainer,BSc,MIC., with a total length of 6109 m. It is a par 72 with a slope rating ( men's white tee ) of 133 and a course rating of 72,9 .

It has also a driving range and golf academy lead by Laurent Mudry ( trains the national team woman). Leuk to Sion is 29 km about a 25 minute drive. For more info go to Golf Club Leuk .

 

     

GolfClub de Sion

Situated in the Heart of the valais on the banks of river the Rhône. Sion Golf Club enjoys a wonderful sunny climate. Its 18 holes extend over 42 acres and are overlooked by the castles of Valère and Tourbillon. For ( Après-Golf) you can go to the center of Sion, wich is one nicest centers of the region. GolfClub de Sierre.

This true " golf nature" occupy a surface of 27 hectares in edge of the natural reserve of Pouta Fontana. Its fairways saunters between  water grouillant of fish and are bordered with large trees of which you will always find a corner of freshness. Throughout your part of golf, you will discover a diversified vegetation (white orchises, willows,) and you will not remain insensitive with the song of the birds .
