Nendaz in Winter 

Nendaz boasts over 400 km of ski runs at altitudes ranging from 1,350 to 3,330 meters that are serviced by 100 cable cars and lifts. It is a paradise for the expert skier with plenty of gentler runs for the intermediate and novice skier. There are also more than 90 km of glorious winter hiking, snowshoeing and cross-country trails. Other features include a children's ski centre, crèche, games library, ice rink, snow park, snow tubing area, sports centre and plenty of inviting après ski bars. 

The Nendaz ski pass system allows skiers to tailor passes to their individual ability. 

During ski season, a free shuttle bus serves the resort daily and there is also free bus service from Nendaz station Telecabine to Siviez on the half hour from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. So don’t bother with the car. 

And don’t bother with bottled water either… Nendaz tap water comes directly from the spring at Aproz!

Nendaz in Summer 

Summers in Nendaz offer plentiful activities to enjoy. Clearly marked walking routes, road and mountain bike trails surround the village, as do 250 km of mountain paths which follow ancient man made streams. Water sports abound, including sailing, wind surfing, jet skiing, rafting, canoeing and kayaking. For the vertically inclined, there is rock climbing and paragliding.  

Golf, tennis and a natural hot spring spa are all close by. 

The International Alpenhorn Festival is held each year at the end of July in nearby Tracouet. Approximately 100 players participate and face each other amicably either solo or in groups. The judging panel, consisting of great names in the world of the Alpenhorn and members of the Swiss Federation of Yodelers, judges without bias.
