You find the 4 vallees in the Canton of Valais (Wallis in German), one of the 26 cantons of Switserland, in the southwestern part of the country around the valley of the Rhône from its headwaters to Lake Geneva. It's a region of 4000 metre peaks, the twelve largest glaciers and a multitude of Alpine passes.
In the Sunniest region of Switserland, you will discover breathtaking scenery stretching out over the valley. It's probably best known for the Matterhorn and ski resorts such as Zermatt or Verbier.

Most of the runs are not too difficult, but in the surroundings of Verbier you find some superheavy ones. Moreover, there is still 79 km not-preparated pistes to challenge for the more expierenced skiër or snowboarder. A cableway opens up the top of the Mont Fort at a height of 3330 metres. From here there is a fantastic view to the Matterhorn, Grand Combin and Mont Blanc.
There are stunning paths with panoramic views, cross-country ski trails and toboggan( sled) runs down valley and cross hills.
